Working with Children Check

We are committed to ensuring the safety and security of children and young people accessing our services. It is a requirement for all volunteers to have a valid NSW Working with Children Check clearance. You can find detailed instructions on how to apply for a Working with Children Check here. The instructions will explain who to send your WWCC information to upon completion. You may also include your WWCC number in the 'Other Information' box at the end of this form.

NOTE: Lunch Volunteers and people under the age of 18 do not require a WWCC.

This check is free for people undertaking unpaid work.

You may include your WWCC number in the box below. Otherwise you will need to email your number to compliance@asylumseekerscentre.org.au when you receive it.

Statement of Prior Convictions

The NSW Working With Children Check is one of the measures we use to ensure the safety of children and young people accessing our services. In addition to this check, the ASC needs to be aware of any prior convictions that may impact a worker’s suitability for placement in child-related work.

Please read the following document in detail before making the relevant selection.
